Cottage Rules

Your reservation is not confirmed until you complete the Guest Verification Form in addition to booking on Airbnb/VRBO.

You are welcome to check in any time starting at 4pm.  

There is a gate at the entry to the community and a keypad lock on the front door and you will be provided with the codes for both before check-in.  

• No smoking in any indoor areas of the cabin 
• Maximum 2 cars in the driveway 
• No parties/events or commercial photography/videography 
• No early check-in or late check-out unless arranged in advance 
• Report any/all damage during your stay by messaging through the booking app 
• Remove shoes upon entry to the cabin 
• Turn off the hot tub and keep covered when not in use 
• Turn off the gas grill and cover once cooled when not in use 
• Turn off the gas fireplace in the living room before leaving the cabin. It may be used between the months of Feb-Oct ONLY. Do not move the artificial logs for any reason. 
• Put out fire in fire pit once done & before leaving the area unattended
• No flames within 10 ft of the propane tank
• Use the washer/dryer combo only when really needed - it is there as a convenience but wears out the well water filter quickly which lowers overall water pressure in the cabin. 
• Do not leave trash of food outside the cabin at night or when not in the cabin as you do not want to attract any unwanted wildlife
• Secure all trash in the bear-proof trash can attached to the deck. If you have more trash than will fit, leave it in the kitchen. 
• Watch small children and pets outdoors, in/near hot tub, fire pit & gas grill 
• Close and lock all windows and doors when you leave the cabin

• 2 people to open and close the cover
• Leave on "Standard" mode
• Do not set above 102 degrees Fahrenheit
• Press "warm" or "cool" to adjust temperature
• Press "light" button to turn light on and off
• Always shower before entering
• Put the cover back on when done with hot tub
• Turn off when not in use
• Do not use for more than 15-20 minutes without taking a break
• Never set temperature above 102 degrees
• Do not leave children under the age of 12 unsupervised
• Follow the safety rules and instructions posted near hot tub
• Maximum 4 people
• No glassware in or around hot tub
• No electrical appliances in or around hot tub
• Pregnant women and those with heart conditions should not use
• Those with other health issues should not use
• Wear swim suits only - no regular clothing
• No jumping or diving
• No pets

*There is internet service, but due to being up in the mountains the signal is not always stable.  Some networks (Verizon) have strong signals up here. 

Washer/Dryer Combo Instructions:

Washer/dryer provided as a convenience.

Please use onLY WHEN NEEDED and consolidate loads to cut down on usage.

Each cycle takes about 4 hours to wash and dry.

We are on well-water and it uses a lot of water and wears out the water filter, which decreases overall water pressure to the cabin.

DO NOT FORCE THE DOOR OPEN OR SHUT.

STEPS:

* Turn ON

*Select Cycles - for both washer and dryer

RECOMMENDED CYCLE = QUICK WASH (sets wash & Dry Cycle)

*Add detergent

*Select Start

*Open only when both cycles complete
